Part 2 - Finally Catching our Breathe.

There were some breathtaking moments before the move.

Saturday 14 March
It had been a very busy day, but as I was participating in Cancer's March Charge, I needed to walk some k's.  It was after 5 when I set out. I noted the golf course was clear, so chose a loop around the ponds. It was such a glorious evening, and the course was looking at its finest after all the rain, that I just kept walking and enjoying the 3 km covered.

Sunday 15 March
It was my birthday and I was quite happily forgetting it. My dear friend Joc, would have none of that. She arrived at 5.45 am and we relaxing on the beach at Southport by 5.30, waiting to watch the sunrise.

The following morning I was off walking my k's at 5.45. The sky was glowing and there were still no golfers, so around the ponds once again.

To the west.

To the east.

The golf course couldn't have said a more special goodbye.

In January, when I signed up for the March Charge, I thankfully had no idea of the events of February and March. My kilometres were down this year, but it is the dollars donated that is so important.

I would love to read your comment.
