Moments that activate your senses, giving a feeling of well being / joy.
Sunrise, sunset, reflections, a trio of birds, clouds, the aroma of newly mown grass, a stately gum, river vistas, a mass of wildness, city view, special times with friends.
The Hungry Hikers walked 10km at Scarborough, then celebrated the Chinese Lattern Festival. Our grateful thanks to Leanne for her wonderful organisation.
The moon photos with the group are gorgeous, Helen. So is that spectacular night shot at the end. Oh how I wish our snow was gone!
ReplyDeleteThe temperature both evenings was just perfect. I see your freezing conditions continue. 😘😘
DeleteAnon was Helen, Marie. I replied on my phone and that is what happened.
DeleteI love all your fantastic cloud photos!
ReplyDeleteI love watching clouds.
DeleteI am enjoying your recent theme of "glimmers"! They are out there waiting to be found and savoured as we find ourselves navigating those not so smooth paths in life!
ReplyDeleteSavouring Sangria! Your post brought me back to my visit to Spain where I sipped lots of Sangria!
This Sangria was lovely, but no where as delicious as the real thing.
DeleteI love those gum tree photos, reminds me of my trip to Australia, oh, my goodness, I can't believe that was 20 years ago!! Looks like a wonderful hike, under a beautiful sky. There's a Scarborough in my nearby city too.... those settlers really missed home, didn't they.
ReplyDeleteSeems like it must be time for another visit. You would notce a faster pace of life and sprawling cities.
DeleteYou certainly look like you have a lot of fun together. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and I love the lanterns. B x
ReplyDeleteHungry HIkers and fun makers. Wednesday's are very special.
DeleteNow I intend to look for "glimmers"! I always enjoy seeing the Hungry Hikers who make me hungry too. Hope all is well with your family, Helen.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will find many 'glimmers' in your winter world, Barb. The word 'glimmer' seems to be becoming an 'in' word.
DeleteWonderful post. I love all your beautiful skies, full moon, and that awesome skyline photo!!
