Tuesday 28 April.
Our new home is a one car home, so adaptions are being made to allow freedom for my husband when I am off hiking with my friends.
On this morning I took the 6.06 am, 555 bus to The Hyperdome, near Beenleigh, to meet up with the Gaiter Girls. The lovely Rebecca then drove us to Ormiston and Felmonhger Park to walk the Doug Tiller Reserve through to Scribbly Gums Conservation Park and return.
The damp weather of the weekend was continuing. Umbrellas were up and down, but it made for lush, moody walking and a full Hilliard Creek.
A hint of pink, waiting at the bus stop.
Dear Helen, what glorious and beautiful photos of this lovely walk! Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend, your posts and photos always bring me much joy!
ReplyDeleteThere is just so much beauty to share, Linda.
DeleteI love that lush look but not that reptile thing stretched out on the log!
ReplyDeleteOh, Alexandra, the water dragon is completely harmless!
DeleteAlways lovely to see your beautiful photos. Glad you are adapting to your new circumstances. B x
ReplyDeleteMissing lots of things, but the positives far outway the negatives.
DeleteThanks for taking me along for another beautiful walk. Now, if only reading about it would burn off the calories ... ha!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. Even my walking doesn't seem to be burning off the calories. Less chocolate may help me.
