Rainforest Bliss and Sea Breeezes

Gaiter Girls - Sandy Creek Circuit, North Tamborine.

We were two.

We were slow.

We gazed,

We listened.

We relaxed.

We were in awe.

We were grateful.

We felt blessed.

A wonderful morning with ray's of sunshine beaming through the forest canopy.

Hungry Hikers - Wednesday

It was wonderful to have out full gaggle/bevy of seven amazing, 'young' Hungry Hikers at Wellington Point this week. There was much laughter when the young lass [20'ish] who took our group photo, commented to her friends, "This is what we will have to do when ..........!" There was a big pause when she realised what she was inferring!
When the laughter settled, the 'oldies' set off on their 11 km walk to The Farm Cafe and back. High tide, cool breeze, leafy streets and stairs negotiated successfully, made for another fabulous morning with these youngsters!

Going up!

The Farm view. Nearly coffee time.

A very creative menu and appropritae table number.

A stunning morning to be out and about early.

Going down.

The youngsters still striding out after our 11 kilometres.

Just wonderful to be able to join friends in our amazing nature amid life's ups and downs, both locally and across the waves.

I would love to read your comment.

  2. What a wonderful walk! I envy you because it's there for you, and because you are still able to do it! My walking is a bit more limited these days, I'm sad to say.

    1. We are trying to be as fit as possible for as long as possible, Bill. Alas, my knees and hip aren't as happy as they once were.

  3. Your post for your hike starting with "We were two." resonated with me! There was no need for long sentences nor paragraphs, your few words packed a punch, the photos filled in the detail!

Much cheer, much colour, much joy, you Hungry Hikers found it all today!
